Took the day off, ended up practicing people. My aim lately has been to draw 'appealing' humans, which I believe I am slowly getting better at.

She's meant to look a little pasty, though.

Also tried a completely unique colouring technique.

YOU SIR HAVE INSPIRED ME A NEW WAY TO DRAW EYES.
My eyes (the eyes in my style lul) are pretty "naked," but yours look like they have that thin film covering it, that real eyes do. So I could put the shinies more at the light source instead of keeping it in the iris all the time,

Oh man, when I discovered putting the light on the actual surface of the eye instead of restricting it to the pupil I leveled up.

Your drawing technique for humans sort of gives me a "tim burton" feel. I love the contortion of facial features and body parts - makes for a more interesting character. By using this technique you can really portray emotions and a characters personality without having to use words.. definitely a good tool. As for the new colouring technique i'd say it was successful :) I like her bang swoop too ;P do more people :D

Thanks! Yeah, I look forward to being good enough to design people with more emotive facial features. (Which blows my mind, by the way, that that's possible.)

Nah, sorry. But if it helps, I used the round brush with pressure sensitive opacity and reeeaally low flow.
